This is a trial run of our high-speed centrifugal dryer for a customer that operates a plastic recycling facility in Washington, USA. This is an energy-efficient drying equipment designed specifically for the plastic recycling process and uses centrifugal “spinning” force to remove water from plastic material flowing through it.
It can handle a multitude of plastic material with high water content and quickly reducing it to low levels. A rotor with slanted paddles drives all materials forward while the high-speed rotation generates centrifugal forces that agitate the materials within the internal screens. This process forces out excess water, which is then discharged via mesh screens and drains at the bottom.
