Welcome to one of our latest project sites in Georgia, where we successfully installed a complete, high-efficiency plastic recycling system for processing both HDPE and PET bottles. Designed for performance and reliability, this integrated line delivers a throughput capacity of up to 500 kg per hour, making it an ideal solution for modern recycling operations.
Efficient Material Handling & Pre-Processing
The process begins with bottles being loaded onto a belt conveyor—an essential component in advanced recycling systems—which ensures a consistent and controlled feed into the line. From there, materials enter the label remover, where surface labels are efficiently detached to prepare the bottles for downstream processing.
Precision Size Reduction & Intensive Cleaning
Next, the bottles are conveyed into a high-performance crusher, where they are reduced into uniform plastic flakes. This size reduction step is critical for optimizing washing efficiency and ensuring consistent material quality.
The flakes are then processed through a friction washer, utilizing high-speed rotational force to thoroughly remove dirt, adhesives, and label residues. This stage plays a key role in achieving high-purity output.
Advanced Washing Technology: Triple-Row Washing Tank
A standout feature of this system is the triple-row washing tank. Compared to conventional washing units, this enhanced design provides extended retention time, increased mechanical agitation, and continuous water circulation. The result is significantly improved cleaning performance and more effective removal of contaminants.
Accurate Material Separation
Following the washing stage, the material enters a sink-float separation tank, where PET and HDPE flakes are separated based on density differences. This process ensures precise material sorting:
- PET flakes sink and are discharged accordingly
- HDPE flakes float and are directed forward in the process
Final Drying & Output Preparation
Once separated, the PET stream undergoes dewatering followed by hot air drying, reducing moisture content to below 1%. This ensures the material is ready for high-quality downstream applications such as pelletizing or extrusion.
In this specific project, the customer’s focus is on HDPE bottle recycling. The separated HDPE flakes are collected and prepared for further processing, supporting efficient material reuse and circular production.
Proven Performance in Real-World Applications
This installation in Georgia highlights our commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance plastic recycling solutions. Each system is engineered to maximize efficiency, ensure consistent output quality, and meet the evolving demands of recyclers worldwide.
