The AMWP Series Waterless Pelletizing Machine is a new-generation recycling solution designed for clean PE film, PP film, edge trims, rejected products, and post-industrial plastic scrap.
Unlike traditional plastic pelletizing lines that require washing, drying, and multiple heating zones, this innovative machine utilizes self-friction plasticizing technology to melt plastic with minimal external heating.
Only the die head requires auxiliary heating at 110–120°C, while the rotating screw generates the necessary heat through friction between the screw, barrel, and plastic material.
The result is a highly energy-efficient pelletizing process that preserves the polymer’s molecular structure, reduces electricity consumption, and produces stronger, cleaner, and more consistent recycled pellets.
Whether you’re recycling factory edge trims or production rejects, the AMWP Waterless Pelletizing Machine helps manufacturers reduce waste, lower operating costs, and maximize material reuse.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Unlike traditional pelletizing lines that rely on multiple electric heating zones, our Waterless Pelletizing Machine utilizes self-generated friction heat as the primary plasticizing energy.
Clean plastic film is continuously fed into the screw extruder.
As the screw rotates, the material is compressed and conveyed forward. Friction between the screw, barrel, and plastic gradually softens and plasticizes the material.
Only the die head uses a small heating ring to stabilize melt flow before extrusion.
The molten plastic is then extruded through the die, cut into uniform pellets, and pneumatically conveyed into the collection hopper.
This innovative process offers:
- Lower energy consumption
- Better polymer protection
- Stable pellet quality
- Reduced thermal degradation
Compared with conventional extrusion pelletizers, the machine uses only one heating zone and an air-cooled barrel while relying primarily on friction to plasticize the material. The standard configuration includes a 75 mm screw, 15 kW variable-frequency drive, manual screen changer, and air conveying system.

MAIN FEATURES
Completely Waterless Recycling
- No washing system.
- No drying system.
- No wastewater treatment.
- Ideal for recycling clean industrial plastic waste.
Self-Friction Plasticizing Technology
Instead of using several heating zones, the screw itself generates the majority of the required heat through friction.
Advantages include:
- Lower electricity consumption
- Faster plasticizing
- Reduced maintenance
- Stable operation
Low Temperature Pelletizing
- Traditional pelletizing temperatures:180–220°C
- Waterless Pelletizing Machine:110–120°C
- Lower processing temperatures significantly reduce oxidation and thermal degradation.
