PLASTIC FILM WASHING PELLETIZING LINE – KIMURA, JAPAN

PROJECT OVERVIEW

In 2020, we worked with Mr. Takahashi, a recycling business owner based in Osaka, Japan, who aimed to establish a reliable and efficient system for post-consumer plastic film recycling.

From the initial discussions, Mr. Takahashi emphasized requirements on flake cleanliness, minimal residual moisture, and stable throughput, which are critical for high-quality film recycling. With clear technical expectations and prompt communication, we designed a tailored solution to meet his needs.

Based on the project requirements, we engineered a 1 T/hr plastic film washing line, designed for continuous operation, effective contaminant removal, and energy-efficient performance.

The system is specially optimized for LDPE/LLDPE film recycling, ensuring:
– Efficient manual sorting and belt feeding
– Controlled size reduction for optimal washing
– High-efficiency friction washing to remove glue, labels, and dirt
– Effective dewatering and storage before optional extrusion or pelletizing
– Clean film flakes suitable for recycling into new film or other plastic products

The process flow follows industry best practices, including belt feeding, manual sorting, crushing, screw conveyor transport, floating tanks, friction washing, belt conveyor transport, silo storage, and optional extrusion, ensuring consistent and high-quality output.

Through close coordination during design, manufacturing, and installation phases, the project was completed successfully in Osaka.

This installation demonstrates Amstar’s expertise in providing turnkey plastic film recycling systems that meet the demanding standards of the Japanese market.

P.S. Mr. Takahashi, we sincerely appreciate your trust and collaboration throughout this project.

This 1 T/hr plastic film washing line delivered to Japan highlights Amstar’s commitment to high-performance, reliable, and tailored recycling solutions for global customers.
