PROJECT OVERVIEW
In 2019, we worked together with Mr. Nakamura, a recycling business owner from Yamaguchi, Japan, who was looking for a practical and reliable solution for post-consumer plastic film recycling.
Throughout the project, we had many detailed discussions about the materials, expected output quality, and daily production requirements. Mr. Nakamura paid close attention to pellet quality, moisture control, and overall line stability, especially because the materials included agricultural films, packaging films, and mixed LDPE/LLDPE soft plastics.
Based on these ongoing discussions and actual production needs, we customized a 1 T/hr plastic film washing pelletizing line designed for efficient washing, drying, densifying, and pelletizing of soft plastic films.
The system was designed to help the customer achieve:
• Stable and continuous production
• Better removal of dirt and contaminants
• Lower moisture before pelletizing
• More uniform pellet quality
• Improved energy efficiency
The line is specially optimized for LDPE/LLDPE film recycling, with smooth material feeding and stable long-term operation.

This 1 T/hr plastic film washing pelletizing line delivered to Yamaguchi, Japan, once again demonstrates Amstar’s ability to provide reliable and customized recycling solutions for customers around the world.
