Part 1: Shredding Line
Sequence: Rubber Belt Conveyor → Single-Shaft Shredder → PVC Belt Conveyor → Trommel
First up: the shredding line. It all starts with the rubber belt conveyor, which feeds the plastic waste smoothly into the star of the show—the DSJ 2000 single-shaft shredder with a moveable hopper. This shredder handles PP and PE film, bags—whatever soft plastics you’ve got—at up to 2 tons per hour. The moveable hopper helps prevent jams, and the large rotor boosts shredding efficiency.
After shredding, the material moves via the PVC belt conveyor straight into the trommel screen, where oversized pieces are filtered out. It’s a clean and continuous flow that keeps the line running smoothly.
Part 2: Washing & Squeezing Line
Sequence: Screw Conveyor → First Floating Tank → Centrifugal Dryer → Screw Conveyor → Second Floating Tank →Screw Conveyors →Squeezers → Silos
Now, let’s move on to the washing and squeezing line.
First, a screw conveyor carries the shredded film into the first floating tank, where dirt, sand, and light contaminants are separated quickly.
Next, the cleaned film goes into a centrifugal dryer, which spins off the excess water and gets the material semi-dry.
From there, another screw conveyor takes the material into the second floating tank for another round of washing—just to make sure it’s as clean as possible.
After that, two screw conveyors move the plastic to two JGJ 320 squeezers. These densifier units use screw-pressing action to remove even more moisture, compressing the film into dense, semi-dry chunks. The final moisture is around 3%, and the density goes up to 300 kg/m³—perfect for storage or direct feeding into a pelletizing line.
Finally, everything drops into the hopper, ready for the next step.
